Why Am I Suffering?

We aren’t promised that it will always be smooth sailing. We may face many storms of fear and doubt and even hopelessness at times. But we are given a comforter who can help us in times of trouble, and this is where we find our strength. He is always there, although sometimes He may seem far away and hard to reach. It’s our own doubt and fear that makes us feel like we’re helpless and weak.
When we put our faith and trust in Him, and ask for His strength in times of trouble, He gives it to us. He won’t always deliver us from the trouble, sometimes it’s something we need to go through to develop our spiritual muscle. But He will give us the strength to get through it.
